Josh Lewis (rugby League)
Josh Lewis (born 5 October 1985 in Sydney, New South Wales is an Australian rugby league footballer who most recently played for Toulouse Olympique. Lewis previously played for the Gold Coast Titans and Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League competition. Playing career A Leichhardt junior and lower grader with the St George and Sydney Roosters clubs, Lewis made his first-grade debut playing for the Roosters in 2006. Looking to gain a regular starting position, Lewis was granted a release from his contract and joined the Gold Coast Titans midway through the 2007 season. In his debut match for the Gold Coast against South Sydney Rabbitohs he set up two tries and kicked a field goal. Lewis played for the Balmain Tigers in 2009, and was unable to get a run in the Wests Tigers team. Lewis was signed by the Cronulla Sharks for the 2010 season, linking with former coach Ricky Stuart. Co-operative Championship
The Rugby Football League Championship, (known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons) is the second highest division of rugby league in Britain (with one team in the league also being based in France) after the Super League. Introduced in 2003 as National League One, it replaced the existing Second Division. It was rebranded as the Championship in 2009. Alan James Whiticker (born 1958) is an Australian non-fiction author and publisher, with over 50 published books on history, sport, biography, true crime and lifestyle. Whiticker writes primarily on matters pertaining to the history of the sport of rugby league in Australia, but he has also published works on subjects as diverse as classical film, pop culture, the Wanda Beach Murders and an adaptation of Homer's ''Iliad''. Hills District Bulls
The Hills District Bulls is an Australian rugby league football club. It plays in the Parramatta District junior league based in at Crestwood Oval. They have played in the Parramatta District since 1964. They field teams in all age groups including C-Grade, A-Grade, Sydney Shield and Ron Massey Cup competitions. History The club's inaugural season was 1964. They commenced with an A Grade, A Reserve Grade and C Grade team and trained on Yattenden Oval. On some match days when there were insufficient A Grade players available, players from the A Reserve Grade team would double up and play two games. They moved from Yattenden Oval to The Castle Hill Showground in about 1966 although some home games were played at the Showground in 1964.
