Josh Evans (defensive Lineman)
Mijoshki Antwon Evans (September 6, 1972 – February 4, 2021) was an American professional American football, football player. Career Evans played college football, collegiately at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama with whom he was a four-year starter. Evans was signed as an undrafted free agent in 1995 by the Houston Oilers and stayed with them during the franchise's move to Tennessee. During the 1999 AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Evans tackled quarterback Mark Brunell in the end zone for a safety. The Titans then made it to Super Bowl XXXIV, in which Evans started. However, they lost to the Kurt Warner-led St. Louis Rams. In 2000, Evans served a one-year suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. In 2002, Evans signed with The New York Jets with whom he spent the last three seasons of his NFL career. Evans died in February 2021 at the age of 48 after a battle with kidney cancer. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that typically lines up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the Guard (American football), offensive guards; however, he may also line up opposite one of the offensive Tackle (gridiron football position), tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida. Kidney Cancer
Kidney cancer, also known as renal cancer, is a group of cancers that starts in the kidney. Symptoms may include blood in the urine, a lump in the abdomen, or back pain. Fever, weight loss, and tiredness may also occur. Complications can include metastasis, spread to the lungs or brain. The main types of kidney cancer are renal cell cancer (RCC), transitional cell cancer (TCC), and Wilms' tumor. RCC makes up approximately 80% of kidney cancers, and TCC accounts for most of the rest. Risk factors for RCC and TCC include smoking, certain pain medications, previous bladder cancer, being overweight, high blood pressure, certain chemicals, and a family history.
