Josh (2000 Film)
''Josh'' (; ) is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed and co-written by Mansoor Khan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chandrachur Singh and Sharad Kapoor. The film, which is primarily in Hindi with occasional Konkani, was set and filmed in Goa. The film has some plot points inspired by the 1961 musical ''West Side Story''. The film is set in the year 1980, amidst the backdrop of real estate deals and communal violence in Goa. Mansoor Khan
Mansoor Hussain Khan is an Indian film director and producer known for his works in Hindi cinema. Early and Personal life He is the son of film-maker Nasir Hussain. Khan attended IIT Bombay, Cornell University, and MIT before making his foray into Hindi cinema. Khan is settled in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu with his wife Tina, where he indulges in farming. Their children are daughter Zayn and son Pablo.
