Jorge Núñez Prida
Jorge Núñez Prida was a Mexican engineer and Scouting president, who carried out the best known official version of ''Scouting for Boys'' in Castilian Spanish under the guidance of the Inter-American Council on Scouting. In 1926, a long internal conflict began in Mexico between the government of Plutarco Elías Calles and militias of laymen, priests and religious Catholics known as the Cristero War. One of the organizations involved was the Knights of Columbus, to which Nuñez belonged, and who along with other members supported and financed the armed struggle between 1926 and 1929 from his exile in the United States. Once the conflict with the government was over, Núñez returned to Mexico City. Throughout 1930, Edelmiro Traslosheros was dedicated to studying the predominant Scout organizations, and together with Núñez, begin to outline plans to found the Exploradores de México. Mexicans ( es, mexicanos) are the citizens of the United Mexican States. San Ángel
San Ángel is a colonia or neighborhood of Mexico City, located in the southwest in Álvaro Obregón borough. Historically, it was a rural community, called Tenanitla in the pre-Hispanic period. Its current name is derived from the El Carmen monastery school called San Ángel Mártir. San Ángel remained a rural community, centered on the monastery until the 19th and 20th centuries, when the monastery was closed and when the area joined urban sprawl of Mexico City. However, the area still contains many of its former historic buildings and El Carmen is one of the most visited museums in the city. The World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM ) is the largest international Scouting organization. WOSM has 173 members. These members are recognized national Scout organizations, which collectively have around 43 million participants. WOSM was established in 1922, and has its operational headquarters at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and its legal seat in Geneva, Switzerland.
