Joost Niemöller
Joost Niemöller (born 25 February 1957) is a Dutch writer and former journalist. Biography Niemöller earned a Candidate's diploma in Dutch studies at the University of Amsterdam, but did not graduate as a Dutch scholar. He then started as a journalist at various media companies, including ''De Pers'', ''De Groene Amsterdammer'', ''Nieuwe Revu'', ' and ''HP/De Tijd''. In 1984, he made his debut with the short story collection . Five more novels would follow afterwards. On 13 February 2025, Niem̠öller was appointed editor-in-chief of Ongehoord Nederland. Personal publications In 2010, Niemöller started his own weblog, . From then on, Niemöller would slowly share more outspoken opinions and conspiracy theories. His participation in the NCRV program ''Lunch!'' was terminated in 2013 after a controversial publication on his blog. Centre Party (Netherlands)
The Centre Party (, , CP) was a Politics of the Netherlands, Dutch nationalism, nationalist, Far-right politics, right-wing extremist political party espousing an Opposition to immigration, anti-immigrant program. The party was founded by Henry Brookman in 1980, and was represented by Hans Janmaat in the Dutch House of Representatives of the Netherlands, House of Representatives from 1982, until he was expelled from the party in 1984 and joined the more moderate Centre Democrats (Netherlands), Centre Democrats. The CP, as well as the CD, was subject to a ''Cordon sanitaire (politics), cordon sanitaire'' by the other parties in the House of Representatives. Johannes Gerardus Hendrikus "Hans" Janmaat (3 November 1934 – 9 June 2002) was a Dutch businessman and politician of the Centre Party (CP) who later founded the Centre Democrats (CD). Although he was widely known, he was never a major force in the Dutch political landscape, partly because of a '' cordon sanitaire'' imposed by Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers's third cabinet. The Bookspot Literatuurprijs (previously ECI Literatuurprijs, AKO Literatuurprijs and Generale Bank Literatuurprijs) is a prize for literature in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is awarded to authors writing in Dutch language, Dutch and amounts to 50,000. The ceremony is televised live each year.
