Jon Arthur Stone (April 13, 1931 – March 30, 1997) was an American writer, director and producer, who was best known for being an original crew member on The Muppets' ''Sesame Street'' and is credited with helping develop characters such as Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird. Jon Stone (poet)
Jonathan T. Stone (born 1983 in Derby, England) is a British poet. He is the author of two books and several pamphlets of poetry, and also publishes work in the numerous collaborative poetry anthologies he has co-edited and published with Sidekick Books. Additionally, his poems have been published in ''The Sunday Times'', ''Poetry Review'', ''Poetry London'' and ''The Rialto (poetry magazine)'', among others. He graduated with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia in 2004. He won an Eric Gregory Award in 2012. In 2022, he published a peer-reviewed study of the interplay between poetry and video games, in which he coined the term ludokinetic poetry to describe poetry that "goes further than simply giving the reader the ability to physically manipulate the text or move through it multidirectionally ..The intended effect is for the reader to become (and to recognise themselves as) a player of the poem, by making them—or rather, their ... Captain Jonathan Stone House
The Captain Jonathan Stone House is a historic residence in the city of Belpre, Ohio, United States. Built just ten years after Belpre's 1789 establishment on the north bank of the Ohio River, it is the oldest existing building in the city.Owen, Lorrie K., ed. ''Dictionary of Ohio Historic Places''. Jonathan Stone is an American politician. He serves as a Republican member for the Sullivan 8th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Career Prior to assuming office Stone served as a police officer for the City of Claremont Police department for six years. He was fired from the police department in March 2006 after an internal investigation. During his time as a police officer there were at least 14 internal affairs reports regarding Stone's conduct. He resigned from the Claremont Police in 2007.
