ABC Radio National, more commonly known as Radio National or simply RN, is an Australian nationwide public service radio network run by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). From 1947 until 1985, the network was known as ABC Radio 2. Jonathan Green is an English author and investigative journalist specialising in narrative non-fiction. He is the author of two books ''Murder in the High Himalaya'' (2010) and ''Sex Money Murder'' (2018). Life and career Green grew up on the family pig farm at Glemsford, near Sudbury, Suffolk; when he was 14 the family sold the farm settling in Bury St Edmunds. He attended boarding school at St Joseph's College, Ipswich, until age 18, but was unhappy with his education there and vowed to become a journalist after he graduated. Years later he would return to school and in 2015 obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College. Green's writing career began at age 18, when he worked for the ''Suffolk Free Press'' as an investigative journalist. Jonathan Green, M.D. (c.1788–1864) was a British medical writer. Life Green was born about 1788, and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England on 7 December 1810; his degree of M.D. was obtained from Heidelberg University in 1834. In 1835 he was elected a fellow of the Royal Medical and Chirurgical Society. For some years Green served as a surgeon in the navy, and acquired a reputation as a specialist in skin diseases. On retiring from the service he visited Paris, to examine the fumigating baths established by order of the French government. On his return to London he opened in 1823 an establishment for fumigating and other baths at 5 Bury Street, St. James's. He also patented a portable vapour bath. Jonathan Green is a British professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Manchester. He is a specialist in autism spectrum disorders. He co-led the first study in the United Kingdom into ICD Asperger syndrome and has written research studies about social and language development in Autism Spectrum Disorder, co-morbidity and treatment intervention. In 2015, Green's research tracked 54 young children from infancy to understand how autism develops in the earliest childhood years including what happens during the months and years before a diagnosis of the disorder. Jonathan Smith Green (September 29, 1796 – January 5, 1878) was a missionary from New England to the Kingdom of Hawaii. Life Green was born December 20, 1796, in Lebanon, Connecticut, to Beriah and Elizabeth Green. Beriah Green (son of the previous) was his older brother. He graduated from Andover Seminary in September 1827 and, while waiting a specific charge, organized a Sunday school and stood for ordination in Brandon, Vermont. On September 20, 1827, he married Theodosia Arnold (1792–1859) of East Haddam, Connecticut. They traveled to Honolulu by March 30, 1828, on the ''Parthian'', as part of the third company from the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions.
