John Robert Quigley (born 1 December 1948) is an Australian barrister, solicitor and politician in Western Australia. A member of the ALP, he served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from the 2001 election until 2025, initially as the Member for Innaloo (2001–2005) until that seat's abolition in an electoral redistribution, then as the Member for Mindarie (2005–2013) until that seat's abolition in an electoral redistribution and is currently the Member for Butler. , he is the state's Attorney-General and Minister for Electoral Affairs in the second McGowan ministry after holding the position of Attorney General and Minister for Commerce in the McGowan Ministry. John Quigley (hurler)
John Quigley (born 1949) is an Irish former hurler. At club level, he played with Rathnure and at inter-county level with the Wexford senior hurling team. Career Quigley played hurling in all grades as a student at St Peter's College in Wexford. He was part of the St Peter's team that won the Leinster Colleges SHC title before later claiming a Dr Croke Cup medal after a 5-11 to 3-06 win over Limerick CBS in the 1967 All-Ireland colleges final replay. At club level, Quigley first played for Rathnure at juvenile and underage levels and was part of the club's under-21 team that won the Wexford U21HC title in 1970. His 20-year senior team career yielded nine Wexford SHC titles between 1967 and 1986. Quigley also won four Leinster Club SHC medals during this period, however, Rathnure lost all of the subsequent All-Ireland club finals. John Quigley is an Australian former rower. He was a four-time Australian national champion and stroked the Australian men's eight to a bronze medal at the 1983 World Rowing Championships. Club and state rowing Raised in Adelaide, Quigley's senior rowing was from the Adelaide Rowing Club. State representation first came for Quigley in 1977 in the South Australian youth eight contesting the Noel Wilkinson Trophy at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. He rowed again the South Australian youth eight in 1978 at stroke. In 1982 and 1983 Quigley rowed in South Australian men's senior eights which contested and won the King's Cup at the Interstate Regatta. He rowed in another South Australian King's Cup eight in 1984.
