John Patrick Green is an illustrator and creator of comics, notable for Jax Epoch and the Quicken Forbidden, and the graphic novel series, InvestiGators. Career Green has been drawing comics since he was a child. He especially loved LOS 40 and drawing Garfield; his first original comic was called 'The Footsies,' and featured child characters with very large feet. He started his career doing design and production on the ''Disney Adventures'' magazine, as well as freelance book design. Green, under the name John Green, is the co-creator and illustrator of '' Jax Epoch and the Quicken Forbidden'', a comic co-created and written by Dave Roman. He started working in comics as an intern at DC Comics, then got a full-time job at Nickelodeon Magazine as a comic editor for 11 years, until the magazine ceased publishing in 2009. Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is an annual promotional effort by the North American comic book industry to attract new readers to independent comic book stores. It usually takes place on the first Saturday of May and has historically been cross-promoted with the release of a superhero film.
