John C. Kelley
John C. Kelley (sometimes credited as John Kelley) is an American television writer and producer who formerly served as a supervising producer on the acclaimed Fox medical drama ''House'' (2004–12). Career Kelley's career in entertainment began when he wrote and directed a short film entitled ''The Yellow Badge of Courage'' in 1999. In 2001 he served as a producer and writer on a television special entitled ''Earthship.TV'', a display of footage from filmmaker James Cameron's expedition to the wreck of the RMS ''Titanic''. From 2003 to 2007 he served as a writer and producer on the CBS crime series ''NCIS'', writing or co-writing sixteen episodes during this time. In 2010 he wrote a freelance episode of ''House'', which aired as part of its sixth season. He was brought aboard as a staff writer at the beginning of season seven. Plot When the team takes on the case of Emily, a six-year-old girl who has numerous preexisting health problems, they must work with her mother, Elizabeth, a doctor who specializes in her daughter's condition. The team must also deal with the battles raging between Emily's mother and father who have conflicting views on how to handle her health issues. When searching the family's home for clues to Emily's illness, the team realizes that Elizabeth's determination to cure her daughter could be the very thing that is killing her. "Fall from Grace" is the seventeenth episode of the seventh season of the American medical drama ''House''. It aired on March 21, 2011. Plot The team takes up the case of a homeless man who was accidentally burned by a miniature rocket launched by two boys in a local park. The patient's most striking symptom is confusing various smells (e.g. body odor for peppermint). He also hides his real name and other information, saying that he does not want his abusive father to be drawn into the case. Now that he can fight back, he is afraid that he might kill his father, who apparently abused him as a child by putting out cigarettes on his body. The seventh season of ''House'' premiered on September 20, 2010, and ended on May 23, 2011. House and Cuddy attempt to make a real relationship work and face the question as to whether their new relationship will affect their ability to diagnose patients. The new season features a new opening title sequence. This was the second change in the opening sequence since the show began; Jennifer Morrison's name was removed from the credits, while Peter Jacobson's and Olivia Wilde's were added to it, with new background images also inserted into the traditional title sequence. This is the last season to feature Lisa Edelstein, who did not return for the eighth season.
