John Burgess (TV Host)
John Richard Burgess (born 4 June 1943) is an Australian radio and television personality and host. He is often referred to as "Burgo" and sometimes "Baby John Burgess" or "Baby John", nicknames deriving from his radio days when he was the youngest presenter at the station. He has worked in the industry since 1963. He is best known for his long-term hosting of the Australian version of game show '' Wheel of Fortune'' and as a breakfast radio host. Career Radio and television presenting Burgess has hosted numerous radio shows over the years. He started in the industry through a chance meeting with John Laws, and joined his network radio station 2GB. On 25 September 2006, he started as breakfast show announcer for the easy listening radio station 3MP in Melbourne. Johnny Young (born Johnny Benjamin de Jong, 12 March 1947, Rotterdam, Netherlands) is an Australian singer, composer, record producer, disc jockey, television producer and host. He had a number-one hit with the double-A-sided single, "Step Back" and a cover of the Strangeloves' "Cara-lyn" in 1966. He was concurrently the host of TV pop music program ''The Go!! Show''. In the mid-1960s, he toured with the Rolling Stones and supported Roy Orbison. Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is a 450-bed adult and teaching hospital located on the northeastern edge of the central business district of Perth, Western Australia. The Comedy Channel (promoted on air as comedy) was an Australian subscription television channel available on Foxtel, and Optus Television. The channel ceased broadcasting on 1 September 2020.
