John Blackley (Australian Politician)
John Blackley (6 January 1862 – 10 March 1952) was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Blackley was born in Scotland, and came to Australia as a young man. Settling in Maryborough, he went into business manufacturing aerated water. The City of Maryborough was a local government area located in the Wide Bay–Burnett region of Queensland, Australia, containing the urban locality of Maryborough as well as the southern half of Fraser Island (also known as K'Gari and Gari).
