Joel Trussell
Joel Trussell is a director, executive producer and artist based in Los Angeles, California. He most recently was an executive producer for the adult, animated, dark comedy ''Captain Fall'' for Netflix Animation. Before that he was an executive producer at Disney Television Animation for the Disney XD show ''Pickle and Peanut'' which he helped develop alongside the creator Noah Z. Jones. Before Disney, Trussell directed the 20 episode, award-winning, animated series '' Electric City'' which is created, written by and starring Tom Hanks. Trussell is additionally well known for directing several award-winning music videos, and many animated segments for ''Yo Gabba Gabba!'' on Nickelodeon. The Animation Show is a touring festival of animated short films that was first held in fall 2003. It was sponsored by MTV, and was created by award-winning animators Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt. Following the demise of other American touring festivals of animation, such as Spike and Mike's Classic Festival of Animation,In the early 2000s, Spike and Mike phased out their general "Classic" festival of animation, but retained their adult "Sick and Twisted" festival; thus general animation did not have an outlet through this channel. the stated purpose of the ''Animation Show'' was to bring animated short films back into proper cinemas, where most of them were intended to be seen, and to "free these artists from the dungeons of Internet exhibition". The Gossip
Gossip (or the Gossip) is an American indie rock band from Searcy, Arkansas, formed in 1999. For most of their career, the band has consisted of singer Beth Ditto, multi-instrumentalist Nathan "Brace Paine" Howdeshell, and drummer Hannah Blilie. After releasing several recordings, the band broke through with their 2006 studio album, '' Standing in the Way of Control''. A follow-up, '' Music for Men'', was released in 2009. The band played a mix of post-punk revival, indie rock, and dance-rock. Their fifth album, ''A Joyful Noise'', was released in May 2012. Seeing Things (album)
''Seeing Things'' is the first solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan. The album was released on June 10, 2008, by Columbia Records and was recorded at the Hollywood Hills home of producer Rick Rubin. Dylan performed songs from the album for a small group on May 8, 2008, at Nissan's Live Sets in Los Angeles, California. Videos of these performances are available for viewing at Jakob Dylan @ Yahoo Music. Dylan also announced his first solo tour with his band The Gold Mountain Rebels to promote the album beginning May 17, 2008, with appearances on the ''Late Show with David Letterman'' on June 11, on ''The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'' on July 15, and on ''The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'' on August 4. Jakob Dylan
Jakob Luke Dylan (born December 9, 1969) is an American singer-songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the rock band the Wallflowers, which he formed in 1989. Born in New York City to musician Bob Dylan and model Sara Dylan, Sara Lownds, Dylan began his musical career in various Independent music, indie bands before creating the Wallflowers. As its frontman and lead vocalist, he wrote and performed the band's hit songs including "One Headlight", "6th Avenue Heartache", "The Difference (The Wallflowers song), The Difference" and "Three Marlenas"—the former of which was included on ''Rolling Stone''s list of the "100 Greatest Pop Songs", and won two Grammy Awards. Dive Deep
''Dive Deep'' is the sixth studio album by the British band Morcheeba, released on 4 February 2008 in the United Kingdom. It is also the second studio album recorded without the former lead singer Skye Edwards. It has a number of vocalists, and several songs can be heard on the band's MySpace page. The first single released was " Enjoy the Ride" which features Judie Tzuke. The second single, " Gained the World", featuring Manda Zamolo, was released on 28 April 2008. The group embarked on a North American tour to promote the album on 24 March that started in Washington DC and ended on 13 April 2008 in Los Angeles.
