Joel Landau
Joel Landau (born ) is an American entrepreneur and health care industry executive. He is the founder of the Allure Group, which specializes in purchasing nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities in the United States that are in danger of closing, and AlphaCare company. Early life and education Landau was born and raised in Monroe, New York, studying at the United Talmudical Academy, where he graduated in 1999. He belongs to the Satmar Hasidic community. Career Landau co-founded AlphaCare in 2012, to insure and provide community-based long term care and support services for high risk elderly individuals who reside in the New York City area. AlphaCare was one of 25 businesses with a state license to provide care to Medicare dual eligible citizens. AlphaCare had changed to become a one product provider and required individuals to have Medicaid and not Medicare as they did previously by 2017. Ynet (stylized in all lowercase) is an Israeli news and general-content website, and the online outlet for the '' Yedioth Ahronoth'' newspaper. History Ynet launched on June 6, 2000, in Hebrew, following other Hebrew outlet's website launches including ''Haaretz'', Maariv and '' Globes''. Since the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948, fixed-term military service has been compulsory in Israel. The draft laws of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) only apply to Jews (males and females), Druze (males only), and Circassians (males only). Because the Druze and Circassian communities are less populous, their women are exempted from mandatory military service altogether. Women from the Jewish community are not exempted, but serve for slightly shorter terms than their male counterparts. The IDF does not conscript non-Druze Arab citizens of Israel, though their men and women may enlist voluntarily. Ger Hasidic
Ger (Yiddish: גער, also Gur, adj. Gerrer) is a Polish Hasidic dynasty originating from the town of Góra Kalwaria, Poland, where it was founded by Yitzchak Meir Alter (1798–1866), known as the "Chiddushei HaRim". Ger is a branch of Peshischa Hasidism, as Yitzchak Meir Alter was a leading disciple of Simcha Bunim of Peshischa (1765–1827). Before the Holocaust, followers of Ger were estimated to number in excess of 100,000, making it the largest and most influential Hasidic group in Poland.
