Jodi, is a collective of two internet artists, Joan Heemskerk (born 1968 in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands) and Dirk Paesmans (born 1965 in Brussels, Belgium), created in 1994. They were some of the first artists to create Web art and later started to create software art and artistic computer game modification. Their most well-known art piece is their website wwwwwwwww.jodi.org, which is a landscape of intricate designs made in basic HTML. JODI is represented by Upstream Gallery, Amsterdam. The artists Joan Heemskerk was born in 1968 in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands, and Dirk Paesmans was born in 1965 in Brussels, Belgium. They both have a background in photography and video art and studied at San Jose State University in California. Paesmans also studied at Kunstakademie Dusseldorf with the founder of video art Nam June Paik. Both Heemskerk and Paesmans live and work out of the Netherlands. ''Jodi'' () is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Praveen Gandhi and produced by Murali Manohar. The film stars Prashanth and Simran in the lead roles, with Vijayakumar, Nassar and Srividya in supporting roles. The soundtrack is composed by A. R. Rahman, featuring music reused from his own earlier soundtrack for the Hindi film '' Doli Saja Ke Rakhna,'' except for the song ''Oru Poiyavathu''. Due to Rahman's unavailability, Praveen Gandhi signed Sabesh–Murali to quickly compose the background score. The film was the 25th film of Prashanth. The film was released on 9 September 1999. It opened to positive reviews and became a commercial success. A reviewer noted that "the director's light-veined screenplay keeps the movie moving at a good pace". ''Jodi'' () is a 2001 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film directed by Kishore Sarja, starring Shiva Rajkumar, Jaggesh and Poonam Singar with Mukhyamantri Chandru, Doddanna and Sadhu Kokila portraying supporting roles. The film's soundtrack was composed by S. A. Rajkumar. It was released on 7 December 2001. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film '' Darling Darling'' (2000) and was a box office failure. Hodï
The Hodï or Jotï (from the Hodï word for "people") are a small group of indigenous people who live in the Amazon rainforest in Venezuela. The last census held in Venezuela, in 2011, registered 982 individuals identifying as Hodï; a 2016 estimate accounted a population of around 1200. They speak the Hodï language and are closely related to the Piaroa people, although linguistic connections between the two people groups have not reached consensus among scholars. They are also known by a number of exonyms as the Hoti, Chicano, Shikana, Yuana, Waruwarú, or Rua. The Hodï were one of the last indigenous peoples to make contact with non-indigenous settlers in Venezuela. Their presence in the Sierra de Maigualida area, between the Amazonas and Bolívar states, was first attested by European sources in 1913 through accounts from Ye'kuana people, who referred to the Hodï as ''Waruwadu''.
