Joaquim Devanir Ferreira Do Carmo
Joaquim Devanir Ferreira do Carmo (born 1 July 1970), known as King or Devanir King, is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a centre back. Career Born in São Paulo, King joined S.C. Braga in the Portuguese first tier in 1992. He made his debut on 13 September 1992, in an away loss to S.C. Farense, adding 11 more league appearances in his first season. His second year was his breakthrough season, amassing 30 league caps, alongside either Jorge Ferreira or Sérgio Abreu. In 1994, King moved to Farense, where he made nearly 30 league games in his first year, partnering with Jorge Soares in the defence of Paco Fortes team. Only a year after arriving in Faro, he made a surprise move to S.L. Benfica on a loan deal from Farense. Lierse S
Koninklijke Lierse Sportkring (), often simply known as Lierse, was a Belgian professional football club from the city of Lier in the Antwerp province. Lierse have won four championship titles and two Belgian Cups. Lierse was one of the six Belgian clubs to have played in the UEFA Champions League group stage, the other being Anderlecht, Club Brugge, Genk, Standard Liège and KAA Gent. Ton Caanen (born March 18, 1966 in Geleen, Netherlands) is a Dutch football manager. Managerial career Aside from a few years in the amateur Dutch leagues, Caanen never played professional football. He got his start as a manager in his hometown club FC Geleen Zuid while also working as a salesman for the local Toyota dealership. After two years with FC Geleen Zuid he started to work as the youth manager of Roda JC. The 1998–99 Primeira Divisão was the 65th edition of top flight of Portuguese football. It started on 23 August 1998 with a match between Chaves and Académica Coimbra, and ended on 30 May 1999. The league was contested by 18 clubs with Porto as the defending champions. Porto won the league and qualified for the 1999–2000 UEFA Champions League group stage, along with Boavista, who qualified for the third round.
