Jo Brand
Josephine Grace Brand (born 23 July 1957) is an English actress, comedian, presenter and writer. Starting her entertainment career with a move from psychiatric nursing to the alternative comedy stand-up scene and early performances on '' Saturday Live'', she went on to appear on '' The Brain Drain'', Channel 4's '' Jo Brand Through the Cakehole'', '' Getting On'' and various television appearances including as a regular guest on '' QI'', '' Have I Got News for You'' and '' Would I Lie to You?''. She also makes regular appearances on BBC Radio 4 in programmes such as '' The News Quiz'' and ''Just a Minute''. Since 2014 she has been the presenter of '' The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice''. In 2003, Brand was listed in ''The Observer'' as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. Glastonbury Festival 2019
The 2019 Glastonbury Festival, Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts took place between 26 and 30 June. The three headlining acts were Stormzy, the Killers and The Cure. This was the last regular edition until Glastonbury Festival 2022, 2022 when the subsequent two editions were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, known as enforced "fallow" years. Kylie Minogue's much anticipated performance in the Legends time slot became the most viewed Glastonbury performance in the festival’s history with 3.9 million viewers, marking the Australian's return to the festival after being forced to pull out in 2005 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Hastings
Hastings ( ) is a seaside town and Borough status in the United Kingdom, borough in East Sussex on the south coast of England, east of Lewes and south east of London. St Paul's Church, Clapham
St Paul's Church is a Church of England parish church in Clapham, London. There has been a church on the site since the 12th century. The current building was completed in 1815 and is Grade II* listed. In the grounds, which hold the Green Flag Award, are some fine tombs including many early 19th century sarcophagi and a community garden, Eden. ''The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice'' (sometimes shortened to ''An Extra Slice'') is a British television after-show to follow the series ''The Great British Bake Off''. ''Just a Minute'' is a BBC Radio 4 radio comedy panel game. For more than 50 years, with a few exceptions, it was hosted by Nicholas Parsons. Following Parsons' death in 2020, Sue Perkins became the permanent host, starting with the 87th series. ''Just a Minute'' was first transmitted on Radio 4 on 22 December 1967, three months after the station's launch. The programme won a Gold Sony Radio Academy Award in 2003.
