Saleem Safi (Urdu, ps, ; born 7 March 1968) is a Pakistani journalist, columnist talk show host. He specializes in foreign policy, terrorism, Kashmir conflict, Afghanistan conflict and the politics of Pakistan. He is associated with Jang Media Group and hosts an Urdu talkshow on Geo News, called '' Jirga''. Early life and education Saleem Safi was born in the city of Mardan, in the KP province of Pakistan on 7 March 1968. He belongs to the Mulagore Pashtun tribe. He graduated from the University of Peshawar and is based in Islamabad. Current affairs is a genre of broadcast journalism in which major news stories are discussed at length in a timely manner.
