Jim Walker (darts Player)
Jim Walker (born 10 February 1959) is a Scottish professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Walker became a PDC Pro Tour Card holder in January 2012 after qualifying through Q-School in Barnsley. Walker's best results on the PDC Pro Tour in the early part of 2012 were at the 2012 UK Open Qualifier 3 and Qualifier 5, where he reached the last 32 both times. These were enough to see him qualify for his first PDC major, the UK Open. There he beat James Richardson, before losing to Joe Cullen 2–9 in the last 64. Walker qualified for the first PDC European Tour event of 2012, held in Wiener Neustadt, Vienna. He played Ronnie Baxter in the last 64 and beat the world number 17 6–5, before being on the wrong end of a 6–5 scoreline to Dean Winstanley in the next round. Dalbeattie
Dalbeattie (, , meaning 'haugh of the birch', or 'drowned haugh' (i.e. liable to flood) is a town in the historical county of Kirkcudbrightshire in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Andrew Gilding
Andrew Gilding (born 7 December 1970) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number twenty-eight. Nicknamed "Goldfinger", Gilding won his maiden PDC title at the 2023 UK Open, becoming the oldest man to win a major event title in his debut PDC final appearance. He also made the semi-finals at the 2015 UK Open and the quarter-finals at both the 2024 World Matchplay and the 2023 World Grand Prix. 2015 PDC Pro Tour
The 2015 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Professional Dart Players Association Players Championships, UK Open Qualifiers, and European Tour events were the events that made up the Pro Tour. This year there were 35 PDC Pro Tour events held – 20 Players Championships, six UK Open Qualifiers, and nine European Tour events. Prize money Prize money for each Players Championship increased from £50,000 to £60,000 per event and the European Tour increased from £100,000 to £115,000 per event. Prakash Jiwa (born 21 May 1970) is an English-Indian suspended darts player He has won a tour card through Qualifying School to compete in Professional Darts Corporation events on three occasions. PDC career Jiwa qualified in 2010 as an amateur for the UK Open but lost in the first round to Simon Cunningham 6–4. He took part in the PDC Qualifying School in 2011 and earned a Tour Card to compete on the PDC Circuit full-time on the fourth and final day. In 2012 he reached the quarter-finals of two UK Open qualifiers to enter the tournament itself in the second round, where he lost 4–2 to Mark Barilli. Ian White (darts Player)
Ian White (born 17 August 1970), nicknamed "Diamond", is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. White has won thirteen PDC ranking events, including three titles on the PDC European Tour. He reached his first major semi-final at the 2019 Players Championship Finals. Career In 1997, White reached the final of the PDC's revived News of the World Darts Championship. He defeated Des Byrne, Gary Spedding, Peter Manley and Andy Jenkins on the way to the final, where he was defeated by Phil Taylor. Mervyn King (born 15 March 1966) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He formerly competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO) tournaments. Nicknamed The King, he reached seven PDC premier event finals and a peak ranking of world number four in the PDC Order of Merit. 2013 PDC European Tour Event 4
The 2013 Austrian Darts Open was the fourth of eight PDC European Tour events on the 2013 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the Arena Nova in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, from 31 May–2 June 2013. It featured a field of 64 players and £100,000 in prize money, with £20,000 going to the winner. Terry Jenkins
Terry Jenkins (born 26 September 1963) is an English former professional darts player who was nicknamed The Bull, having previously used the name "Tucker" for his matches. He reached a peak ranking of world number three in the darts world rankings and was a runner-up in nine major PDC televised finals. Roland Scholten (born 11 January 1965) is a Dutch former professional darts player who played in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and British Darts Organisation (BDO). Nicknamed The Tripod and The Flying Dutchman, Scholten turned full-time professional in 2001 having previously worked as a publican. Nigel Heydon (born 22 July 1970) is an English professional darts player who plays in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. Career Heydon qualified for the 2007 UK Open as an amateur qualifier, losing in the first round to John Burton. He also reached the last 40 of the 2009 World Masters.
