Jim Ellis (American Football)
Jim Kevin Ellis (born March 25, 1964) is an American former professional football player in the National Football League (NFL) with the Los Angeles Raiders. He is also a former professional boxer who fought in the Heavyweight division. American football He moved to Boise, Idaho after graduation from Redondo Union High School. In Boise, he played college football for the Boise State Broncos football team at Boise State University. Weighing 237 pounds and listed at 6 feet, 2 inches tall, Ellis played from 1983 to 1986, returning five interceptions for a total of 63 yards. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Raiders in 1987 and played three games during a season that was affected by a strike. He did not achieve any stats in those three games. He was one of the replacement players. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). Ricky Parkey (November 7, 1956 – April 7, 2024) was an American professional boxer who held the IBF cruiserweight title from 1986 to 1987. Marvin Camel
Marvin Camel (born December 24, 1951) is a Native American former professional boxer who competed from 1974 to 1990. He was the first cruiserweight world champion, having held the WBC title in 1980 and the IBF title from 1983 to 1984. He was also the first Native American boxer to become a major world champion. Early life Marvin Camel was born December 24, 1951, in Ronan, Montana, part of the Flathead Indian Reservation. Osvaldo "Ossie" Ocasio (born August 12, 1955) is a Puerto Rican former boxer who held the World Cruiserweight Championship from 1982 to 1984. Eddie Taylor (January 29, 1923 – December 25, 1985) was an American electric blues guitarist and singer. Biography Born Edward Taylor in Benoit, Mississippi, as a boy Taylor taught himself to play the guitar. He spent his early years playing at venues around Leland, Mississippi, where he taught his friend Jimmy Reed to play the guitar. With a guitar style deeply rooted in the Mississippi Delta tradition, Taylor moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 1948. Richard Steele (born January 26, 1944) is an American retired boxing referee who was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. A former member of the United States Marine Corps, Steele was a teammate of future world Heavyweight champion Ken Norton in the Marines. He began his career as an amateur boxer while with the Marines, compiling a record of 12 wins and 3 losses before launching a professional career. Rafael Pineda (born January 12, 1966, in Barranquilla, Colombia) is a former Colombian boxer at welterweight.
