James Cameron Davidson (born 13 December 1953) is an English stand-up comedian, actor, singer and TV presenter. He hosted the television shows '' Big Break'' and '' The Generation Game''. He also developed two adult pantomime shows such as ''Boobs in the Wood'' and ''Sinderella'', to critical reception. Biography The son of a Scottish father from Glasgow and Irish mother from Cork, Davidson was born in Kidbrooke, London, and attended Kidbrooke Park Primary School, Blackheath, and St Austin's School in Charlton. Having impressed some acquaintances of his father with impressions of celebrities, he was chosen to appear in Ralph Reader's Gang Show at the Golders Green Hippodrome aged 12 and appeared on television in the '' Billy Cotton Band Show''. He also briefly attended a stage school in Woolwich. Jim Davidson (born January 18, 1963) is an American actor and model active in the 1990s and early 2000s. Davidson is a graduate of Lehigh University. Career He graduated from Selinsgrove High School in Snyder County, Pennsylvania, United States . Jim earned his Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He worked as a public accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City before he was discovered by a model agency. Davidson's first television role came as the pit reporter on the monster truck racing series ''Monster Wars'', which lasted one season in 1993 before being cancelled. He is best known for his work on the mid-1990s television drama '' Pacific Blue''. Jimmy Davidson (23 October 1942 in Armagh – 28 April 2007) was an Irish rugby union player and coach. Davidson managed the Irish national rugby union team from 1987 until 1990. Davidson made his Ireland debut against France at Lansdowne Road on 25 January 1969 and went on to win six caps for Ireland, his last in 1976. He took over as coach of the Ulster Ulster (; ga, Ulaidh or ''Cúige Uladh'' ; sco, label= Ulster Scots, Ulstèr or ''Ulster'') is one of the four traditional Irish provinces. James Hutchinson Davidson
James Hutchinson Davidson (1902-1982), was an Australian bandleader and jazz musician who worked for the BBC in England from 1947 to 1963. Career James Davidson grew up in Birchgrove, New South Wales and began playing brass instruments in 1917 with the Compulsory Military Training Band. He played drums and cornet and began to perform as part of cinema pit ensembles and dance bands. During the 1930s Davidson led the Jim Davidson Dance Band which performed nationally on ABC Radio. Columbia Records released hundreds of records of his performances, and between 1937 and 1939 his ABC band made three interstate tours. Davidson joined the Australian Imperial Force in 1943 and formed the Army Entertainment Group which led variety shows troops in the Middle East and the South-West Pacific areas during World War II.
