Jessica Holmes (television Presenter)
Jessica Renee Holmes (born November 17, 1976) is an American television personality. She was the co-host of the popular Nickelodeon TV series ''Slime Time Live''. She is currently a morning news anchor of the KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles. Career Jessica Holmes was an intern for Nickelodeon in 1999 when she was approached by a producer in a hallway at the network and was asked if she would like to appear on air. She agreed and six months later she began co-hosting the show ''Slime Time Live''. Slime Time Live ran for eight seasons between 2000 and 2004. In 2003, Holmes was hired to host Bragging Rights for the '' OLN'' cable network (formerly Outdoor Life Network). Bragging Rights was a 13-episode reality television show and Holmes served as the host. Jessica Holmes (born August 29, 1973) is a Canadian comedian and actress. She is best known for her work with the '' Royal Canadian Air Farce'', which she joined in 2003, after starring in her own show, ''The Holmes Show'' in 2002. She is married to actor Scott Yaphe. Holmes attended Canterbury High School in Ottawa followed by Ryerson University in Toronto. For one season, Holmes hosted her own show, ''The Holmes Show''. She also appeared on '' XPM'' and ''History Bites''. Holmes is the daughter of a feminist mother and a Mormon father. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) at age 19; beginning at age 21, for 18 months she was a Mormon missionary in Venezuela. Michaela Pereira (born August 26, 1970) is a Canadian television personality best known as being a former anchor for KTLA in Los Angeles and for the KTTV FOX11 Los Angeles morning show, ''Good Day LA''. She announced on March 28, 2013, that she would be leaving KTLA in May to be a part of the CNN morning show '' New Day'' that debuted on June 17, 2013. In 2016 Pereira left CNN for the HLN cable television network, where on July 11, 2016, she debuted as anchor of the Los Angeles-based news program ''MichaeLA''. In October 2018 HLN announced that Pereira and the hosts of two other HLN live news shows would be let go by the network; the final broadcasts for ''MichaeLA'' and the other two shows took place on October 26, 2018. ''Slime Time Live'' is a television show that aired on Nickelodeon from 2000–2004, lasting 8 seasons. During its run it was hosted by Dave Aizer, Jonah Travick and Jessica Holmes (television presenter), Jessica Holmes and produced/directed by Jason Harper. It was located outside (inside if either weather did not permit, or the outdoor area had become too messy from earlier in the day) of the former Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios Florida (the third-to-last show to do so).
