Jesse Davis (born September 15, 1991) is an American football offensive tackle who is a free agent. He played college football at Idaho. College career Born and raised in Asotin in the southeast corner of Washington state, Davis was recruited as a defensive tackle by Idaho in nearby Moscow. He started twelve games for the Vandals at defensive tackle in 2012, then was moved to offensive tackle in spring camp in 2013. Professional career Seattle Seahawks Davis signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2015, but was waived on August 31. New York Jets On January 11, 2016, Davis signed with the New York Jets, but was waived on August 28. He was signed to the Jets' practice squad on November 1, but was released two weeks later. Jesse Davis (born September 11, 1965) is an American jazz saxophonist. He began as a student in Ellis Marsalis's New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. After graduating, Davis embarked on a productive jazz career, recording eight albums on the Concord Jazz label, alongside collaborations with such artists as Jack McDuff and Illinois Jacquet. Davis has studied music at Northeastern Illinois University, and in 1989 he received a "Most Outstanding Musician award" from ''Down Beat'' magazine. Jesse Ed Davis
Jesse Edwin Davis III (September 21, 1944 – June 22, 1988) was a Native American guitarist. He was well regarded as a session artist and solo performer, was a member of Taj Mahal's backing band and played with musicians such as Eric Clapton, John Lennon, and George Harrison. In 2018, Davis was posthumously inducted into the Native American Music Hall of Fame at the 18th Annual Native American Music Awards. Early life and education Davis was born in Norman, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jesse Edwin (Bus) Davis II, whose ancestry was a blend of Comanche, Seminole, and Muscogee (Creek), and Vivian Mae (Bea) Saunkeah, a Kiowa. His father was an accomplished painter in the Flatstyle Southern Plains painting; his works were exhibited in the state capitol in Oklahoma City.
