Jerusalem In My Heart
Jerusalem in My Heart (JIMH) is a live audio-visual performance project, with Montréal-based producer and musician Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (co-owner of The Hotel2Tango recording studio in Montreal) and Montréal-based filmmaker Erin Weisgerber. Jerusalem in My Heart release their music on Montreal label Constellation Records. Band history Since 2013, JIMH have released four studio albums, ''Mo7it Al-Mo7it'' (2013), ''If He Dies, If If If If If If'' (2015), ''Daqa'iq Tudaiq'' (2018), ''Qalaq'' (2021) and a self-titled album with Suuns, released on Secretly Canadian. In 2016 Moumneh scored 6 of the 8 songs featured in ''Deserts'' (co-directed by Coderre). Jerusalem in My Heart curated some of the 2017 edition of the Le Guess Who? festival in Utrecht. Suuns
Suuns () is a Canadian rock music, rock band from Montreal. It was formed in mid-2007 when vocalist and guitarist Ben Shemie and guitarist and bassist Joe Yarmush got together to make some beats which quickly evolved into a few songs. The duo was soon joined by drummer Liam O'Neill and bassist and keyboardist Max Henry to complete the original line-up. The band signed to Secretly Canadian in 2010. Since 2018, Suuns saw the departure of Henry as an official member (he continues to record in the studio) to pursue a scholastic path, and in 2020 they officially signed with Joyful Noise Recordings with their 2020 output of ''Fiction (EP), Fiction'', followed by their 2021 LP ''The Witness (Suuns album), The Witness''. Secret City Records is a Canadian independent record label based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The music label was founded in 2006 by Andrew Rose and Justin West, originally as sublabel of Justin Time Records. It became fully independent in late 2008. Le Guess Who? is a Dutch music festival featuring different music genres: from avant-garde, jazz, hip hop, electronic, experimental, noise rock, indie rock, world music and others. Secretly Canadian is an American independent record label based in Bloomington, Indiana, part of the Secretly Group. The Hotel2Tango (sometimes referred to as Thee Mighty Hotel2Tango and abbreviated H2T) is a 24-track Analog recording, analogue recording studio situated in the Mile End, Montreal, Mile End district of Montreal, Quebec. The current facility is the second to bear the name, and was preceded by a similar operation in the same neighborhood until 2007 when the studio changed locations.
