Jens Zimmermann(born 1965) is a Christian philosopher and theologian who specializes in hermeneutics and the philosophical and theological roots of humanism. He is currently J.I. Packer Chair of Theology at Regent College. Between 2006 and 2020, he held the position of Canada Research Professor at Trinity Western University, Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Jens Oliver Zimmermann (born 6 August 1972 in Freudenstadt, West Germany) is a German sport announcer, moderator and athletes manager. He had started his career as a press speaker of popular German football team Stuttgarter Kickers. Nowadays he executes announcing of sport competitions in Germany as well as abroad. Jens Zimmermann (born 9 September 1981) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Hesse since 2013. Political career Zimmermann first became a member of the Bundestag in the 2013 German federal election. He is a member of the Finance Committee and the Committee on the Digital Agenda. In this capacity, he is his parliamentary group's rapporteur on measures against money laundering and terrorist financing. In addition to his committee assignments, Zimmermann is part of the German-British Parliamentary Friendship Group.
