Jeff Hall (American Football)
Paul Jeffery Hall (born July 30, 1976) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a placekicker for the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers football, Tennessee Volunteers, and was selected in the sixth round of the 1999 NFL draft with the 181st overall pick by the Washington Redskins. He played one season in the NFL for the Rams in 2000, appearing in three games. After leaving the NFL, he became a National Football League Players Association, NFLPA-registered financial advisor for Rather & Kittrell Capital Management in Knoxville, Tennessee. Jeffrey James Hall (7 September 1929 – 4 April 1959) was an English footballer who played as a right back for Birmingham City and England. It was the death of Hall – a young, fit, international footballer – from polio which helped to kick-start widespread public acceptance in Britain of the need for vaccination. Though the disease was generally feared and the Salk vaccine was available, takeup had been slow. In the weeks following Hall's death, and after his widow, Dawn, spoke on television about her loss, demand for immunisation rocketed. Emergency vaccination clinics had to be set up and supplies of the vaccine flown in from the United States to cope with demand. Jeffrey W. Hall (born December 26, 1951) is an American politician and accountant who served as the 24th mayor of Alexandria, Louisiana from 2018 to 2022. On taking office on December 4, 2018, he stepped down as a Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for District 26 in Rapides Parish, a position which he assumed in 2015. Early life and education Hall graduated from Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. He has resided in Pineville, Opelousas, and Mansfield, Louisiana, and Amarillo, Texas. Career Hall stressed economic development, jobs, and resolving the $1 billion state budget shortfall as the principal issues he would face as state representative.
