Ash Black Bufflo, sometimes spelled ''Buffalo'', is the professional name of Portland, Oregon, Portland-based music composer and experimental musician Jay Clarke. He composes music for feature-length films, short films, documentaries, and dance and theater projects. Career He is notable for scoring the music for the documentary ''Marwencol (film), Marwencol'' which won the Jury Prize at the South by Southwest film festival and received positive critical attention. He created soundscapes for theatrical productions such as ''My Mind Is Like an Open Meadow'', which received positive reviews in ''Willamette Week''. He performs and records with numerous Portland-area bands including Dolorean, Holy Sons (band), Holy Sons, Grails (band), Grails, and others. Jodie Harsh is the stage name of Jay Clarke, a London-based DJ music producer, promoter, and drag queen who was born in Canterbury in Kent. Career Nightlife Jodie Harsh adopted her moniker at the age of 18 when she moved to London for her studies at the London College of Fashion. Her name is inspired by television personality and glamour model Jodie Marsh, and is intended to be "a piss-take of that naff celebrity culture, where people are famous for doing nothing". She started exploring the drag scene and working in nightlife. She hosted her own parties at different venues across London, with her debut event taking place at Soho Revue Bar (now The Box). She founded the gay club brand Room Service in 2010, which was initially based in London but later expanded internationally. Jay Alexander Clarke (born 27 July 1998) is a British tennis player. He has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 153 achieved on 22 July 2019. Clarke has won twelve Futures titles and four Challenger titles. In 2017, on a Wimbledon wildcard, Clarke and Marcus Willis beat the defending doubles champions and second seeds, Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert, in the second round, in five sets. Nig Clarke
Jay Justin "Nig" Clarke (December 15, 1882 – June 15, 1949) was a Canadian professional baseball player. A catcher, Clarke played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for nine seasons with the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Naps, St. Louis Browns, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates. In 506 career games, Clarke recorded a batting average of .254 and accumulated 20 triples, six home runs, and 127 runs batted in (RBI). Born in Canada and raised in Michigan, Clarke began his baseball career in 1902, when he reportedly hit eight home runs in one game while playing for the Corsicana Oil Citys of the Texas League. From there, he spent two more seasons in the minor leagues before the Cleveland Naps signed him to a contract. Aside from a loan to the Detroit Tigers, he played for the Naps for six seasons.
