Janum Khan, better known by his stage name Jaykae, is a British rapper and actor from Small Heath, Birmingham. Music career Jaykae's start with music began when he started listening to other grime artists from London. In 2017 he released a single, "Every Country," featuring Murkage Dave of the Murkage cartel. The song, produced by Skepta, was Radio 1's Tune of the Week. He has featured on Charlie Sloth's BBC show, '' Fire In The Booth'', where he performed a two piece set which reflected on life and the recent passing of fellow grime artist and friend, Depzman. The Wireless Festival is a rap and urban music festival that takes place every year in London, England. It is owned and managed by Live Nation. Small Heath is an area in south-east Birmingham, West Midlands, England situated on and around the Coventry Road about from the city centre. History Small Heath, which has been settled and used since Roman times, sits on top of a small hill. The slightly elevated site offers poor agricultural land, lying on a glacial drift of sand, gravel, and clay, resulting in a heathland that provides adequate grazing for livestock. The land, therefore, seems to have developed as a pasture or common land, on which locals could graze their animals. However, the site lies directly on the route between Birmingham and Coventry, and so was probably used by drovers transporting animals to and from the two cities, and the livestock markets within each. Joshua Ribera (10 August 1995 – 21 September 2013), performing as Depzman, was a British rapper, considered by some "a leading artist on the UK grime scene." Ribera featured on some of the largest music channels on YouTube that showcase grime music all across the UK, from JDZMedia, P110 and, the largest out of them all, SB.TV. He was stabbed in the heart outside of a Birmingham nightclub by Armani Mitchell. He was 18 years old.
