Jason Chandler Williams (born November 18, 1975) is an American former professional basketball player who was a point guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for twelve seasons from 1998 to 2011. In 2006, Williams won his first and only NBA championship as the starting point guard for the Miami Heat. Nicknamed "White Chocolate", Williams is known for his unorthodox streetball style of playing throughout his career in the NBA. A native of West Virginia, Williams played college basketball for Marshall University and the University of Florida. The Sacramento Kings selected him in the first round of the 1998 NBA draft. He also played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, and Orlando Magic throughout his career. The Heat named Williams one of their top 25 players of all time in 2007. Jason Williams (born April 15, 1979) is an American former basketball player. Playing career Williams is from Bladensburg, Maryland and attended Bladensburg High School. In his senior year of 1996–97, Williams was named to Prince George's County's 3A/2A First Team and also to the Washington, D.C. all-metro area fourth team. Williams went on to play college basketball at Radford University from 1997 to 2001. During his four-year career, Williams recorded 1,176 points (12.6 per game average), 412 rebounds (4.4), 173 assists (1.9) and 128 steals (1.4). His best season came in 1999–2000 during his junior year. He averaged career-highs of 18.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as he led the Highlanders to a 12–2 Big South Conference record. Jason David Williams (born September 10, 1981) is an American former basketball player and television analyst. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils and professionally for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. Then known as Jason Williams, he won the 2001 NCAA Championship with Duke, and was named NABC Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002. He was drafted second overall in the 2002 NBA draft by the Bulls. He was known as Jay on joining the Bulls to avoid confusion with two other players with similar names in the NBA at the time. His playing career was effectively ended by a motorcycle crash in 2003. Jayson Williams (born February 22, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 11 seasons, primarily with the New Jersey Nets. He played his first three seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, who acquired him in trade with the Phoenix Suns following the 1990 NBA draft. Jason Lester Williams (born 5 September 1976) is a former Kittitian cricketer who played for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He was a wicket-keeper who batted right-handed. Williams made his first-class debut for the Leeward Islands in January 1999, playing against Jamaica in the 1998–99 Busta Cup. He continued to make irregular appearances for the team into the mid-2000s, with his last matches for the team coming in the 2006–07 KFC Cup.
