Jason Gregory White (born 19 October 1971) is an English former professional association football, footballer. He played as a Striker (association football), striker. Career White began his career with Derby County F.C., Derby County in 1990, but after failing to break into ''the Rams first team, he left to join Scunthorpe United F.C., Scunthorpe United the following year. In his first season with the North Lincolnshire club, they reached the Football League Fourth Division, Division Four Blackpool F.C. season 1991-92#Final, play-off final, in which they faced Blackpool F.C., Blackpool at Wembley Stadium (1924), Wembley. Anthony Daws (born 10 September 1966 in Sheffield) is an English football coach and former professional footballer, he is academy manager of National League side Scunthorpe United. As a player, he was a striker and played for Notts County, Sheffield United, Scunthorpe United, Grimsby Town, Lincoln City, Halifax Town, Scarborough and Altrincham. A recurring back injury that first occurred during his spell at Scunthorpe United forced him to retire from playing at a relatively early age. He then took up junior coaching positions at Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday before becoming academy manager at Scunthorpe United – he was interim manager of the club from 1 September to 28 November 2022. The 1997 Football League Third Division play-off final was an association football match which was played on 24 May 1997 at Wembley Stadium, London, between Northampton Town and Swansea City to determine the fourth and final team to gain promotion from the Football League Third Division to the Second Division. The top three teams of the 1996–97 Football League Third Division, Carlisle United, Fulham and league winners Wigan Athletic, gained automatic promotion to the Second Division, while the teams placed from fourth to seventh in the table took part in play-offs. The winners of the play-off semi-finals competed for the final place for the 1997–98 season in the Second Division. The losing semi-finalists were Chester City and Cardiff City.
