James Robinson (Australian Politician)
James Robinson (1860 – 16 September 1922) was an Irish-born Australian politician. He was born at Aughantane near Clogher in County Tyrone to farmer John Robinson and Jane Moore. On 15 June 1886 he married Elizabeth Colquhoun Robinson, with whom he had a daughter. He migrated to Australia in 1886 and from 1888 ran his own business in Kogarah, New South Wales, Kogarah. In 1896 he sold out and worked for Griffiths Brothers as a manager from 1921. He was involved with the Nationalist Party of Australia, Nationalist Party, serving on its council from 1917 to 1922 and as president of the Kogarah and Croydon, New South Wales, Croydon branches. On 4 July 1922 he was appointed to the New South Wales Legislative Council, but he died less than three months later at Croydon on 16 September 1922. References

James Harvey Robinson
James Harvey Robinson (June 29, 1863 – February 16, 1936) was an American scholar of history who, with Charles Austin Beard, founded New History, a disciplinary approach that attempts to use history to understand contemporary problems, which greatly broadened the scope of historical scholarship in relation to the social sciences. Biography Robinson was born in Bloomington, Illinois, to James Harvey Robinson (1808–1874), a bank president, and Latricia Maria Drake (; 1821–1908). After traveling to Europe in 1882 Robinson entered Harvard University in 1884, earning his A.B. in 1887 and his M.A. in 1888. He continued his studies at the University of Strasbourg and the University of Freiburg and received his Ph.D. at Freiburg in 1890. Big Jim Robinson (born Nathan; December 25, 1892 – May 4, 1976) was an American jazz musician, based in New Orleans, renowned for his deep, wide-toned, robust "tailgate" style of trombone playing, using the slide to achieve a wide swoop between two notes (a technique that classical musicians call "glissando") and rhythmic effects. Opera Theatre of Saint Louis (OTSL) is an American summer opera festival held in St. Louis, Missouri. Typically four operas, all sung in English, are presented each season, which runs from late May to late June. Performances are accompanied by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, which is divided into two ensembles, each covering two of the operas, for the season. James Robinson (filk Musician)
Dr. James Robinson (born 1948, Maine) is an American filk music songwriter and performer (known as Dr. Jane Robinson prior to 2004 sex reassignment surgery) whose songs focus on scientific themes, particularly paleontology. Robinson earned a doctorate in biology from UCLA in 1976, and went on to teach at the University of California, Berkeley. His filk albums include ''Dr. Jane's Science Notes'' (later reissued as ''Wackademia''), ''Fossil Fever'', ''Bedlam Cats'', ''Midlife Crisis'' and ''Dr. Jane's Remains''. Robinson has won two Pegasus Awards (2000, Best End of the World Song, for "Out of a Clear Blue Sky"; and 1992, Best Writer/Composer); and has been nominated an additional 14 times. Robinson was inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2000. Robinson's life partner was the late Cynthia McQuillin, who reportedly said, upon meeting James for the first time, "At last I get to meet the man I fell in love with!" He lives in Oakland, California.

Wallace Art Awards
The Wallace Art Awards was an annual visual arts award ceremony in New Zealand, established in 1992 and running until 2021. Their goal was to "support, promote and expose contemporary New Zealand art and artists". History The awards were established by James Wallace in 1992. Awards were made for contemporary painting, sculpture and photography and were run by the James Wallace Charitable Arts Trust. By 2021 the prizes offered were valued at more than 275,000 and included the offer of artists' residencies overseas. ''The New Zealand Herald'' described the list of award recipients as "an arts world who's who". The 2018 awards were presented by the Rt Hon Dame Patsy Reddy at the Pah Homestead, Auckland on 3 September 2018.
