James Baldwin
James Arthur Baldwin (né Jones; August 2, 1924 – December 1, 1987) was an American writer and civil rights activist who garnered acclaim for his essays, novels, plays, and poems. James Fowle Baldwin
James Fowle Baldwin (April 29, 1782 – May 20, 1862) was an early American civil engineer who worked with his father and brothers on the Middlesex Canal, surveyed and designed the Boston and Lowell Railroad and the Boston and Albany Railroad, the first Boston water supply from Lake Cochituate, and many other early engineering projects. He was the first president of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers and served one term as a Senator from Suffolk County to the Massachusetts Senate, then served as a Boston Water Commissioner. Family life and education James Fowle Baldwin was born in Woburn and died in Boston aged eighty. Baldwin, Jr. (born July 15, 1971) is an American former professional baseball pitcher with the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). James Robert Baldwin (born 28 August 1997) is a British racing driver and sim racer who most recently competed in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for Garage 59. He raced in the 2020 British GT Championship and has competed multiple times in the 24 Hours of Spa, including a 38th overall and 11th in class finish in 2024. Baldwin achieved his first GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup podium with a 3rd place finish in the Bronze Cup category at the 2024 6 Hours of Jeddah. Career Baldwin began his racing career in karting aged 8, and won three DMAX National Championships at Daytona Motorsport between 2013 and 2014.
