Jamal Faulkner
Jamal Faulkner (born July 3, 1971) is an American former professional basketball player. A versatile forward who primarily played small forward but could also be used at the power forward position, he was one of the top recruits of the high school class of 1989. After having to sit out one year due to poor grades, he played two seasons at Arizona State before being dismissed due to Faulkner's trouble with the law. After missing one more year he finished his college career at Alabama, and went undrafted in the 1995 NBA draft. He then spent 8 years playing professional basketball, mostly in Europe. High school career Faulkner was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Bedford–Stuyvesant. He grew up with his mother, Connie, since his father was not a part of his life. Faulkner attended Christ the King Regional High School in Middle Village, in the Queens borough of New York City. The power forward (PF), also known as the four, is one of the five traditional Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. Traditionally, power forwards have played a role similar to center (basketball), centers and are typically the tallest or second tallest player on the court.
