Jacob Hoffman ( he, יעקב הופמן, 1881–1956) was born in Pápa, Hungary. Biography In Pressburg, where the phrase ''chadash asur min haTorah'' (the new is forbidden by the Torah) originated as a contra- modernist slogan, the pursuit of secular studies was discouraged. Yet, Rabbi Hoffman, always an original thinker, exhibited his individualism at an early age. As a yeshivah student, he did not participate in the institution of “days,” the practice whereby students were hosted for daily meals in different homes. He studied privately and received his matriculation diploma, which enabled him to earn a Ph.D. at the University of Vienna. His doctoral dissertation was entitled “Halachic Elements in the Koran.” He expressed his independence in other ways as well. Jacob Edward Hoffman (born March 20, 1981) is an American actor, music video director and writer. Life Jake Hoffman was born in Los Angeles County, the son of actor Dustin Hoffman and Lisa Hoffman (née Gottsegen). He is Jewish. In 2003, he graduated from NYU Film School. In July 2022, he married Amit Dishon, an Israeli designer. Career Hoffman has directed music videos; he has written and directed short films. He is most known for his work as an actor. Jake Hoffman is an Arizona state senator in Arizona's 15th district. He was previously a state representative in Arizona's 12th district. He was elected to the seat after incumbent Republican Warren Petersen decided to run for the Arizona Senate. He and incumbent Travis Grantham won in a twoseat election in 2020, both defeating Democrat Kristin Clark by over 85,000 votes. Hoffman runs a digital-marketing company, Rally Forge. The Guardian reported that Rally Forge also formed a fake left-wing front group, America Progress Now, which promoted Green Party candidates online in 2018. Rally Forge was banned from Facebook in 2020 when Hoffman was permanently suspended by Twitter. As of 2021, he is the vice-chair of the Arizona House's Committee on Government and Elections. Jake Hoffman (American Football)
Jacob Harry Hoffman (July 21, 1895 – February 11, 1977) was an American football player. Hoffman was born in Syracuse, New York, in 1895. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Mexican Border War prior to the U.S. entry into World War I. He played at the fullback position in the National Football League (NFL) for the Rochester Jeffersons in 1925. He appeared in four NFL games, two as a starter. After his football career ended, he lived in Jordan, New York Jordan is a village in Onondaga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,368 at the 2010 census.
