Jahan-e-Khalid
Jahan-e-Khalid is Pakistani super model, educationist and entrepreneur. Having worked with top brands and fashion designers he has established himself as a leading model and has been nominated twice as Best Model Male at Lux Style Awards. He received three consecutive nominations at Hum Awards as Best Model Male, winning one. Career Khalid was born on April 24, 1986, in Lahore. He attended Aitchison College and completed his bachelor's degree in Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2010 and worked for two years before entering the fashion industry. Besides modeling he helped his father's construction business. In 2009 while working at call center he did a photoshoot with his friend, who wanted to be professional photographer, he recalled "The portfolio turned out really well and he sent those out to different designers. Lux Style Awards
The Lux Style Awards is an award ceremony held annually in Pakistan since 2002. The awards celebrate "style" in the Pakistani entertainment industry, and it is the oldest event dedicated to cinema, television, fashion, music and film industry in Pakistan. Categories have changed over the years, but most are awarded by panels of judges who are experts in the respective industries, with some "people's choice" awards in the film and TV categories. The ceremonies, which are televised, have usually been held in Karachi, but in some years have taken place in Lahore, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai. Hum Award For Best Model Male
The Hum Award for Best Model Male is one of the Hum Awards presented annually by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC) to Male model who has achieved outstanding recognition within the fashion industry. Since its inception, however, the award has commonly been referred to as the hum for Best Model Male. The 3rd Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis and Telenor, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2014 and took place on 9 April 2015, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE at 8:30 p.m. UAE Standard Time and was televised on 23 May at 7:30 p.m. PST. Dawn News
Dawn News is one of Pakistan's 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Karachi, the station is a subsidiary of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL), Pakistan's largest English-language media group. The test transmission of the station occurred on 25 May 2007, and the channel went live on 23 July 2007. Originally broadcast in English, on 15 May 2010, Dawn News converted into an Urdu news channel after successful test transmission of four hours a day.
