Jacob Wilson (racing Driver)
Jacob Wilson (born March 17, 1990 in Crawfordsville, Indiana) is an American racing driver. Early life Wilson began speedway karting in 2003. Between 2003 and 2006, Wilson claimed two championships, along with seven second-place and one third-place finishes in the standings across several World Karting Association divisions. Sprint Car & Silver Crown Racing Between 2005 and 2007, Wilson competed in several USAC midget races, with six top-ten finishes over that period. In 2008, he entered his first USAC Sprint Car and Silver Crown Series races. He claimed his first USAC National Sprint Car win that year at Salem Speedway at the Joe James/Pat O'Connor Memorial Race. His best Silver Crown finish that year was 5th at the Copper World Classic at Phoenix International Raceway. Crawfordsville is a city in Montgomery County in west central Indiana, United States, west by northwest of Indianapolis. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 16,306. The Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT was an IndyCar Series and American Le Mans Series race for 3 years held on a street circuit in Baltimore, Maryland. The inaugural race was held September 4, 2011. ESPN said it was the best inaugural street race in North America in the last 30 years. The races were contested on a temporary street circuit around the Inner Harbor area of downtown Baltimore. The New Hampshire Indy 225 was an IndyCar race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire. It was held as a CART Champ Car event from 1992 until 1995, switching to the Indy Racing League for the 1996–97 season. On June 21, 2010, it was announced that the IndyCar Series would return to New Hampshire for the 2011 season. The Circuit Trois-Rivières is a street circuit in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The circuit has been the home of the annual Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, the longest-running street race in North America, since 1967. The Grand Prix of Toronto (known for sponsorship reasons as the Honda Indy Toronto) is an annual Indy Car race, held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
