Jack Wood (racing Driver)
Jackson Ryan Wood (born August 7, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado RST for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. He has also previously competed in the ARCA Menards Series, the ARCA Menards Series East, and the ARCA Menards Series West for Bill McAnally Racing. Racing career Wood competed part-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2019 and again in 2020 when the series became the ARCA Menards Series West after NASCAR's merger with ARCA. Driving for his family-owned team, Velocity Racing, Wood collectively scored eight top-10s and one top 5 in those two years in his No. 78 car. The ARCA Menards Series West, formerly the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR AutoZone West Series, NASCAR Winston West Series, NASCAR Winston Transcontinental Series and NASCAR Camping World West Series, is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series was first formed in 1954 as a proving ground for drivers from the western United States who could not travel to race in the more traditional stock car racing regions like North Carolina and the rest of the southern United States. The ARCA Menards Series East (formerly known by other names) is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). Races are held at oval tracks ranging from in length and on two road courses, in length. Most races are stand-alone events (i.e. not in conjunction with other NASCAR touring series), but there are three race weekends that are in combination with the NASCAR Cup Series. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car racing, stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA).
