Jack McKay (footballer, Born 1885)
John McKay (1885 – after 1911) was an English professional footballer who made 19 appearances in the Football League playing for Birmingham. McKay was born in Hebburn, County Durham. He began his football career with Hebburn Argyle before joining Birmingham of the Football League Second Division in 1910. He marked his debut for the club, at home to Bradford on 10 September 1910, by scoring the only goal of the game, and played fairly regularly while Frank Foxall, also an outside left, was being tried at inside forward. The experiment failed, Foxall returned to the wing and McKay lost his place. Jack McKay (born 19 November 1996) is a Scottish professional association football, footballer who plays as a Winger (association football), winger for Doncaster City F.C., Doncaster City. Club career Doncaster Rovers Glasgow-born McKay began his career at Doncaster Rovers with twin brother Paul McKay (footballer, born 1996), Paul when he was nine-years-old. In 2014, he played in the Gothia Cup with under-18s side; scoring in wins over Malmö FF, Malmö FF's academy and Beşiktaş A2, Beşiktaş Academy as Rovers progressed through to the knock-out round. The Scot scored the equalizer in the next game versus IF Elfsborg, IF Elfsborg Academy before being eliminated on penalties.
