Jack Owen Ingram (born November 15, 1970) is an American country music artist formerly signed to Big Machine Records, an independent record label. He has released eleven studio albums, one extended play, six live albums, and 19 singles. Although active since 1992, Ingram did not reach the U.S. Country Top 40 until the release of his single " Wherever You Are" late-2005. A number one hit on the ''Billboard'' country charts, that song was also his first release for Big Machine and that label's first Number One hit. Ingram has sent six other songs into the country Top 40 with " Love You", " Lips of an Angel" (a cover version of a song by Hinder), " Measure of a Man", "Maybe She'll Get Lonely", "That's a Man", and " Barefoot and Crazy". ''Jack Ingram'' is the debut studio album by country music artist Jack Ingram. Initially released independently in 1993,Beal, Jim Jr. (December 29, 1995). "Man without hats – He's no punk, but roots-country singer Jack Ingram has that do-it-yourself spirit", ''San Antonio Express-News''. it was then the first of three albums released by Ingram on the Crystal Clear Sound label in 1995. No singles were released from this album. Most of the tracks from this album were re-released on the studio album ''Young Man'' in 2004 along with tracks from his second studio album, ''Lonesome Questions''. Content The majority of the album's tracks were written by Ingram. The opening track "Beat Up Ford" would become Ingram's trademark song in his early career as well as the name of his back-up band. Jack Ingram (December 28, 1936 – June 25, 2021) was an American NASCAR Busch Series race car driver. Nicknamed the "Iron Man",TV: Busch Series preview show for Bristol, ESPN2 channel, 24 August 2007, interview with Jack Ingram during eight seasons in the Busch Series, he won 31 races and 5 poles, as well as the 1982 and 1985 championships. Unlike most younger competitors, Ingram won his 31 races between the age of 45 and age 50. Career During most of his time in the series he drove the Skoal Bandit car (1984–1991). Throughout his Busch Series career he almost always raced in the No. 11 car. During the 1986 season, Ingram was suspended for two races by NASCAR after ramming a driver during a race in Asheville, North Carolina at the New Asheville Speedway. Jack Ingram (actor)
John Samuel Ingram (November 15, 1902 – February 20, 1969) was an American film and television actor. He appeared in many serials and Westerns between 1935 and 1966. Biography Ingram served in the U.S. Army in France. After leaving the military, he gave up plans to study law and instead joined a traveling minstrel show. He acted in stock theater with several companies before going into film. Ingram first appeared on screen in a bit part in ''Westward Ho'' (1935). His first film credit came in the serial ''Zorro Rides Again'' (1937). In addition to acting, Ingram was a stunt man, working with horses and cars in films in the early 1930s. He was born in Frankfort, Illinois, and died in Canoga Park, California, of a heart attack. He was interred in the Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Chatsworth, California. John Jasper Ingram (December 19, 1893 – December 14, 1957) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played one game in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins on January 5, 1925 against the Toronto St. Pats. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1912 to 1931, was mainly spent in the Maritime senior leagues. Career A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ingram played the position of centre. Ingram played for the Charlottetown Islanders from 1912 to 1913, Moncton CNR Machinists from 1913 to 1915, Moncton St. Bernard's from 1915 to 1917, Moncton Trojans from 1915 to 1916, Moncton Victorias from 1918 to 1925. Boston Bruins in 1925, Providence Reds from 1926 to 1927, Moncton Atlantics from 1928 to 1930, and the Moncton Victorias from 1930 to 1931. Ingram retired from playing hockey in 1931, but continued to be a coach for both senior and junior hockey teams in New Brunswick.
