Reykjavík

Monika Larsen Dennis (born 1963) is a Swedish contemporary visual artist and sculptor, known for her public art. She has also worked in performance art, photography, and film. Early life and education Monika Larsen Dennis was born in 1963 in Malmö, Sweden. She attended (; now part of Iceland University of the Arts), and received a BFA degree (1994). Followed by study at the Royal Institute of Art, where she received a MFA degree (1997). Stefán Karl Stefánsson
Stefán Karl Stefánsson (; ; 10 July 1975 – 21 August 2018) was an Icelandic actor and singer. He was best known for portraying Robbie Rotten, the antagonist of the children's television series '' LazyTown''. Career Stefán Karl's career started in 1994 at the age of 19, when he worked as a puppeteer for television. During his years as a puppeteer, he had also been studying at the Drama Academy of Iceland. However, he was unsatisfied with the perspectives of Icelandic drama standards. He recalled that his principal at his high school said that "acting is not about making faces and changing your face", which he disagreed with. Later, Stefán Karl was invited by Magnús Scheving, an Icelandic gymnast, to portray one of the characters in the second '' LazyTown'' play. Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (born 13 March 1973) is an Icelandic-American actor, producer, and screenwriter. Hatari (; ) are an Icelandic techno, industrial and punk rock band and performance art group from Reykjavík. Their public image incorporates elements of anti-capitalism and BDSM attire. The band consists of Klemens Hannigan, Matthías Haraldsson and Einar Stefánsson, and has released one album and one extended play, encompassing several singles. Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir (born 12 October 1968) is an Icelandic actress and musician. In the 1990s, she was also a saxophonist and vocalist of the group Reptile. Ólöf Arnalds (born 4 January 1980) is an Icelandic singer/songwriter and indie musician who has been active within the Icelandic music scene since the early 2000s. She was a touring member of múm for five years from 2003 before launching her solo career and has released three albums to date. She has collaborated with bands and artists such as Björk, Stórsveit Nix Noltes, Mugison, Slowblow and Skúli Sverrisson.
