Ligat HaAl (, lit., ''Supreme League or Premier League''), or the Israeli Basketball Premier League, is a professional basketball league in Israel and the highest level of basketball in the country. The league's name is abbreviated as either BSL (Basketball Super League) or ISBL (Israeli Basketball Super League). Brian Charles Randle (born February 8, 1985) is an American assistant coach for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball at the University of Illinois. He is a former professional basketball player. He was a three-time Israeli Basketball Premier League Defensive Player of the Year, and was the 2010 Israeli Basketball Premier League Finals MVP. The 2015–2016 Israeli Basketball Super League was the 62nd season of the Israeli Basketball Super League. The regular season started on October 11, 2015, and ended on March 6, 2016. The season began on October 12, 2014, and ended on June 25, 2014. The season marked the first time since 1993 that Maccabi Tel Aviv did not reach the Finals, and the third time they failed to finish in either the first or second place.
