Israel was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Ding Dong" written and performed by Dana International, who had previously represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest in Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998, 1998 where she won the contest with the song "Diva (Dana International song), Diva". Dana International
Sharon Cohen (; born 2 February 1969), professionally known as Dana International (), is an Israeli Pop music, pop singer. She has released eight albums and three additional compilation albums. She was the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 in Birmingham with the song "Diva (Dana International song), Diva". After consolidating her initial commercial success with the albums ''Umpatampa'' (1994) and ''Maganuna'' (1996), she was selected in 1998 to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Diva". Boaz Ma'uda
Boaz Ma'uda (; born April 23, 1987) is an Israeli singer and songwriter. He won the fifth season of '' Kokhav Nolad'', the Israeli version of ''Pop Idol'', and represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, finishing in 9th place. His voice has been described as somewhere between David D'Or and Dana International. Early life Boaz was born and raised in moshav Elyakim, where he still lives. Gilad Segev (; born November 16, 1974), also known as Passerby or Gilad Passerby (in Chinese 行者.吉拉德), is an Israeli singer-songwriter, musician, author, and travel documentarian.
