Isabel Da Costa Ferreira
Isabel da Costa Ferreira (15 April 1974 – 18 June 2023), also Isabel Ruak Ferreira, was an East Timorese jurist, human rights activist, politician, and wife of East Timor's former president and former prime minister, Taur Matan Ruak.Timor Foundation''First Lady Isabel da Costa Ferreira'' She was the First Lady of East Timor from 2012 to 2017. Taur Matan Ruak
José Maria Vasconcelos (born 10 October 1956), popularly known as Taur Matan Ruak (Tetum for "Two Sharp Eyes"), is an East Timorese politician who has served as the prime minister of East Timor since 22 June 2018. He was also President of East Timor from 20 May 2012 to 20 May 2017. Before entering politics, he was the Commander of the FALINTIL-''Forças de Defesa de Timor-Leste'' (F-FDTL), the military of East Timor, from 2002 until 6 October 2011. The Constitution of East Timor entered into force on 20 May 2002, and was the country's first constitution after it gained independence from Portugal in 1975 and from Indonesia, which invaded East Timor on 7 December 1975 and left in 1999 following a UN-sponsored referendum.
