"Is This Love" is a song by Bob Marley and the Wailers, released on their 1978 album '' Kaya''. The song became one of Marley's best-known songs and was part of the ''Legend'' compilation. It peaked at number 9 in the UK charts upon its release in 1978. A live rendition of the song can be found on the '' Babylon by Bus'' live album from Paris in 1978. Music video A music video was also produced, shot at the Keskidee Arts Centre in London; in the video, future supermodel Naomi Campbell, then seven years old, made her first appearance in the public eye. Lvndscape and Bolier remix In June 2016, the song was remixed by Dutch electronic music collaborators Lvndscape and Bolier, and the remix version reached #16 single in the UK. Bob Marley And The Wailers
Bob Marley and the Wailers (previously known as the Wailers and prior to that the Wailing Rudeboys, the Wailing Wailers and the Teenagers) were a Jamaican ska, rocksteady and reggae band. The founding members, in 1963, were Bob Marley (Robert Nesta Marley), Peter Tosh (Winston Hubert McIntosh), and Bunny Wailer (Neville Livingston). During 1970 and 1971, Wailer, Marley and Tosh worked with renowned reggae producers Leslie Kong and Lee "Scratch" Perry. Before signing to Island Records in 1972, the band released four albums. Two additional albums were produced before Tosh and Wailer departed from the band in 1974, citing dissatisfaction with their treatment by the label and ideological disagreements. Marley continued with a new lineup, which included the I-Threes, and went on to release seven more albums. Marley died from cancer in 1981, at which point the group disbanded. Leendert Wouter "Leon" Bolier (; born 21 October 1980), also known by his mononym Bolier, is a Dutch trance DJ and record producer. Biography Bolier's career began to flourish in 2008 with a number of successful song releases including the hit song "Ocean Drive Boulevard". The Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance is an award presented at the Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1958 and originally called the Gramophone Awards. According to the 54th Grammy Awards description guide it is designed for solo, duo/groups or collaborative (vocal or instrumental) R&B recordings and is limited to singles or tracks only.
