Ann Scott is an Irish singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. Music career *Ann Scott recorded her debut album Poor Horse between 2002 and 2003. Prior to its release in 2004, Scott released three EPs ''Pauper Tiger'', ''Madness'' and ''Knife''. *Her debut album received positive reviews where it was voted in Hot Press Magazine's Top 100 Irish Albums Ever at number 58. Between the releases of her EPs (starting with Pauper Tiger in 2002) and first album Poor Horse in 2004, Ann Scott toured the Republic of Ireland extensively. Her second album We're Smiling released in 2006 received positive reviews and followed with a tour of the Republic of Ireland. Brídín Brennan
Brídín Ní Bhraonáin, professionally known as Brídín Brennan, is an Irish pop singer from Gweedore, County Donegal. She is the youngest of nine siblings, notably the sister of Enya, Moya Brennan, Ciarán Brennan, and Pól Brennan, and has also toured with family band Clannad. Career Brídín's musical career began in the 1990s, when her sister Moya asked her to join as a vocalist at Clannad's live performances, and with the Duggans (also members of Clannad). Brídín featured on "Noinín/The Mucky Duck". Bridie Gallagher
Bridget "Bridie" Gallagher (7 September 1924 – 9 January 2012) was an Irish singer, affectionately known as "The Girl from Donegal". She has been described as "Ireland's first international pop star". Gallagher shot to fame in 1956 with her recording of "A Mother's Love's A Blessing" and achieved international acclaim with her legendary rendition of "The Boys From County Armagh". Briana Corrigan
Briana Corrigan (born 30 May 1965) is a Northern Irish singer. She was a member of The Beautiful South from 1988 to 1992. Early life Corrigan was born in Northern Ireland. When she was 11 years old, her family moved from Belfast to Portstewart, County Londonderry, where she attended Dominican College, Portstewart, the school at which her mother taught. She moved to Newcastle upon Tyne in England at the age of 18 to study for a BA in creative and performing arts. Robert Frederick Zenon Geldof (; born 5 October 1951) is an Irish singer-songwriter and political activist. He rose to prominence in the late 1970s as the lead singer of the Irish rock band the Boomtown Rats, who achieved popularity as part of the punk rock movement. Billie Barry
Lillian "Billie" Barry (27 January 1921 - 30 September 2014) was an Irish singer, dancer and choreographer who founded the Billie Barry Stage School in 1964. Background Billie Barry was born in Drumcondra, Dublin, Ireland, one of 15 children. Her father, John Clarke-Barry, was a respected musician who took part in many orchestras. Her mother was an amateur operatic singer. Lillian, later known as "Billie", began performing as a singer at the age of five. Tom McBride (18 September 1936 – 17 April 2018), known as Big Tom, was an Irish country, traditional and easy listening singer, as well as a guitarist, and saxophone player. With a career spanning over six decades, he started his career in 1966 as the frontman of the Irish showband Big Tom and The Mainliners. Career On 1 February 2008, Big Tom began a 12-date tour of Ireland after doctors gave him the all clear. On 25 May, Big Tom performed for the closure night of the Galtymore dance hall in Cricklewood, London. On 27 July, Big Tom was the headline act at London's Irish Festival. Bernadette Therese Doneathy (; 17 October 1960 – 4 July 2013) was an Irish actress, singer and television personality, formerly lead vocalist of the girl group the Nolans. She was the second youngest of sisters Anne, Denise, Maureen, Linda and Coleen. From the age of two, Bernie was brought up in Blackpool, Lancashire, England.
