Irene Heng Lauvsnes
Irene Heng Lauvsnes (born 17 April 1968) is a Norwegian engineer specialising in aqua culture, and politician for the Conservative Party. She has served as mayor of Strand since 2015 and a deputy member of parliament for Rogaland since 2021. Political career Local politics She has been a member of the Strand municipal council since 2011 and was elected as the first female mayor of Strand in 2015. She was re-elected in 2019 and 2023. The Conservatives with her at the helm, held the mayoralty since she became mayor, while the Christian Democrats held the deputy mayoralty. However, this changed when her second deputy mayor, Bjørn Aril Veland, changed his party allegiance to the Conservatives in 2022 prior to becoming acting mayor in a brief absence for Lauvsnes. The Storting ( ; ) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Manufactured feeds are an important part of modern commercial aquaculture. They provide the balanced nutrition needed by farmed fish. The feeds, in the form of granules or pellets, give nutrition in a stable and concentrated form, enabling the fish to feed efficiently and grow to their full potential. Many of the fish farmed more intensively around the world today are carnivorous, such as Atlantic salmon, trout, sea bass, and turbot. Starting in the 1970s, fishmeal and fish oil were key components of the feeds for these species in the development of modern aquaculture. Tina Bru (born 18 April 1986) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. From 2020 to 2021, she served as the Minister of Petroleum and Energy. She was elected to the Storting from Rogaland in 2013 and became a member of the Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment. She was reelected to the Storting for the period 2017–2021, and continued as a member of the Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment. The Christian Democratic Party (, , , KrF; ) is a Christian-democratic political party in Norway founded in 1933. The party is an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP).
