Iracema de Alencar (19 April 1900 – 17 March 1978) was a Brazilian actress. Rede Tupi (; in English, Tupi Network) was a Brazilian commercial terrestrial television network. Rosa Maria, known by her stage name, Rosinha, is a Portuguese Pimba singer, songwriter and accordion player. Biography Rosa was born in 1971 in Montijo, Portugal and grew up in the parish of Santo Isidro de Pegões, in the exclave of the municipality of Montijo. Her family moved to Montijo when she was 10; it was also at this time when she started playing the accordion. A few years later Rosa started studying at Instituto de Música Vitorino Matono, in Lisbon. She gave her first concerts at 17, as an accordionist. "Garota de Ipanema" (), or "The Girl from Ipanema", is a Brazilian bossa nova and jazz song. It was a worldwide hit in the mid-1960s and won a Grammy for Record of the Year in 1965. It was written in 1962, with music by Antônio Carlos Jobim and Portuguese lyrics by Vinícius de Moraes, with English lyrics written later by Norman Gimbel. The first commercial recording was in 1962 by Pery Ribeiro. The Stan Getz recording featuring the vocal debut of Astrud Gilberto became an international hit.
