The 62nd District of the Iowa House of Representatives in the state of Iowa. It is currently composed of part of Black Hawk County. Philip Wise
Philip Leon "Phil" Wise (born September 5, 1946) is a former ten-term Iowa State Representative. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1987 through 2009 and did not seek re-election in 2008. He received his BS and MS from Northwest Missouri State University. Deborah Berry
Deborah L. Berry (born September 2, 1958) is an American politician who was the Iowa State Representative from the 62nd District from 2012 to 2017. From 2003 to 2012 she represented the 22nd district, most of which is part of the current 62nd district. Iowa House of Representatives District 62 includes of all the area that is located on the east side and a small part that is on the west side of the Cedar River in Waterloo, Iowa. Bruce L. Hunter (born June 22, 1955) is a former Iowa State Representative from the 34th District. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2003, when he was elected in a January special election to replace Frank Chiodo, who resigned before term start to become the legislative liaison for the Iowa Department for Economic Development, to 2023. Barbara Finch
Barbara Ann Finch (November 17, 1952 – December 17, 2008) was an American politician. Barbara Ann Davis was born in New York City to parents James and Ruth Davis on November 17, 1952. She attended Nassau Community College and Creighton University. Davis married Robert Finch in 1981. The couple farmed and raised three children near Ames, Iowa. Barbara Finch served on a number of agricultural commissions, including the Story County Farm Bureau, Story County Cattleman's Association, and the Governor's Task Force for Sustainable Agriculture, as well as the Ballard School Board. She was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2000, as a Republican, succeeding Dennis Parmenter as the legislator from District 62. Finch contested the Iowa Senate's 23rd District seat in 2002, losing the general election to Herman Quirmbach. After leaving the state legislature, Finch worked for Mary Greeley Medical Center. Dennis Parmenter
Dennis W. Parmenter (December 27, 1950 – December 12, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer. Parmenter was born in Elkhart, Iowa to his parents Paul Parmenter and Kathryn, née Ault. After his mother died, his father remarried Sandra Sorenson. Dennis Parmenter attended North Polk High School, Iowa State University, and the Drake University School of Law. He married Kathy Houge in October 1970, with whom he had three children. Parmenter was an Assistant Story County Attorney, and in 1979, established his legal practice in Huxley, Iowa, Huxley. Parmenter previously served as mayor of Huxley. A Democrat, he was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 1999 to 2001 (62nd district). He died on December 12, 2020, in Des Moines, Iowa, Des Moines. Parmenter's memorial service was held in June 2021. References

Jo Ann Trucano (born August 30, 1943) is an American former politician. Jo Ann Determan was born to parents Joe and Delores on August 30, 1943, in Early, Iowa.
