Interstate 580 (California)
Interstate 580 (I-580) is an approximately east–west auxiliary Interstate Highway in Northern California. The heavily traveled spur route of I-80 runs from US Route 101 (US 101) in San Rafael in the San Francisco Bay Area to I-5 at a point outside the southern city limits of Tracy in the Central Valley. I-580 forms a concurrency with I-80 between Albany and Oakland, the latter of which is the location of the MacArthur Maze interchange immediately east of the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge. I-580 provides a connection from the Bay Area to the southern San Joaquin Valley and Southern California via I-5, as I-5 bypasses the Bay Area to the east. Interstate 180 (Illinois)
Interstate 180 (I-180) is a north–south spur highway in Illinois that runs from Princeton to the small town of Hennepin at its southern terminus. It is long. Route description I-180 begins as a continuation of Illinois Route 71 (IL 71) at a diamond interchange with IL 26 northeast of Hennepin. The interchange is located adjacent to a former steel mill that was most recently operated by ArcelorMittal but closed in 2009 and demolished in 2017. The freeway travels northwest, carrying I-180 and IL 26 in a concurrency, and crosses the Illinois River on the north side of Hennepin to enter Bureau County. On the west side of the river, IL 26 separates from I-180 and the freeway crosses over IL 29 before splitting at a Y interchange. Interstate 180 (Nebraska)
Interstate 180 (I-180) is a short auxiliary Interstate Highway in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. The north–south spur freeway connects I-80 to downtown Lincoln, running for while entirely concurrent to U.S. Route 34 (US 34). I-180 has two intermediate interchanges at Cornhusker Highway and Superior Street, both located north of Oak Creek. It is the only auxiliary interstate highway completely in the state of Nebraska. It was proposed in the 1950s and construction began in 1961 as part of the Lincoln Access Highway project. The northern section between Cornhusker Highway and I-80 opened on July 27, 1963, which was followed by a two-phase opening of the southern section between December 1963 and January 1964. The southern section, which includes a viaduct over a downtown railroad, was rebuilt from 1996 to 1998, while the Oak Creek crossing was rebuilt between 2001 and 2003. Interstate 180 (I-180) is a spur highway in Pennsylvania that connects Williamsport to I-80 near Milton. The length of the highway is . It was also the designation of present-day I-176 between Morgantown and Reading, when the Pennsylvania Turnpike carried the "I-80S" designation in the 1960s. It is signed as an east–west route for its entire length, even though half of the route runs north–south. Route description I-180 begins along the banks of the West Branch Susquehanna River in Williamsport, at an interchange with US Route 15 (US 15) and US 220. Interstate 180 (Wyoming)
Interstate 180 (I-180) is a connector in the US state of Wyoming between I-80 and downtown Cheyenne. It is unusual for being one of the few Interstate Highways that does not conform to Interstate Highway standards. There is also no freeway anywhere along its route. Other routes in Alaska and Hawaii are similar in nature, as they are funded by Interstate dollars but do not conform to Interstate Highway standards. The only grade separations are a diamond interchange at its southern end (at a junction with I-80) and a pair of bridges that run over 1st Street and the Union Pacific railroad tracks. However, even the interchange with I-80 is a standard diamond with signalized intersections. It is a divided at-grade expressway with a speed limit due to the frequency of signals.
