Interstate 17 (I-17) is a north–south Interstate Highway located entirely within the US state of Arizona. I-17's southern terminus lies in Phoenix, Arizona, Phoenix, at Interstate 10 in Arizona, I-10/U.S. Route 60 in Arizona, US 60 and its northern terminus is in Flagstaff, Arizona, Flagstaff, at Interstate 40 in Arizona, I-40. Most of I-17 is known as the Arizona Veterans Highway. In the Phoenix metropolitan area, it is mostly known as the Black Canyon Freeway, however, the southern are part of the Maricopa Freeway. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT, ) is an Arizona state government agency charged with facilitating mobility within the state. In addition to managing the state's state highways, highway system, the agency is also involved with public transportation and airport, municipal airports. The Schnebly Hill Formation is a section of red bed deposits found at the Colorado Plateau, near Sedona, Arizona. It is a dark red sandstone, from to thick. It lies between Coconino Sandstone and the older Hermit Formation. It is near the Supai Group. The source of the name "Schnebly" is Sedona Schnebly, after whom the city of Sedona, Arizona, was named. Metro Parkway station, also known as the Thelda Williams Transit Center, is an elevated light rail station on the B Line of the Valley Metro Rail system in Phoenix. It is the northern terminus of the B Line. The B Line is a light rail line in Phoenix, Arizona. It is the north-south line operating as part of the Valley Metro Rail system. Service began on June 7, 2025. The line's inauguration introduced a new two-line system, whereas the system had previously operated with a single line. The B Line runs from Metro Parkway to Baseline/Central Avenue.
